Mr. Dolen received a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University in 1982. He graduated from Boston University School of Law in 1985 as an Edward F. Hennessey scholar.
Admission to Practice
In 1986, Mr. Dolen was admitted to practice in New York state and in Massachusetts. He was admitted to practice in California 1987. He has also been admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Central District of California in 1988, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of California in 1992. He is admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Dolen has specialized in civil litigation defense on behalf of public entities and corporations. He has handled more than 150 dangerous condition cases for cities, counties, school districts, special districts, and the State of California. He has handled over 50 cases involving allegations of sexual abuse for public entities, religious orders, corporations, and dioceses. Mr. Dolen has handled wrongful death cases and employment law cases for a wide range of clients in State and Federal Courts.
